Mohammed Hasanabba Saheb Athrady Returns Home with the Support of Good Samaritans
Mohammed Hasanabba Saheb, who has been working for Mr. Mohammed Al-Qahtani (also known as Abu Faisal), a Saudi citizen, has safely returned to his home place at Padubidri. He suffered a brain contusion suddenly while he was at his room in Riyadh-Saudi Arabia, a couple of weeks ago.
Mohammed, who has been employed by Abu Faisal for several years, sustained the brain injury due to hypertension. His sponsor promptly took him to King Salman Hospital at AlWadi in Riyadh, which is few Kilometers away from his room.
After thorough medical check-ups at the hospital, he was diagnosed with brain contusions (bleeding in blood vessels in the brain) due to high blood pressure, necessitating immediate medical attention and care.
Following approximately ten days of necessary and timely medical treatment at the hospital, Mohammed’s condition began to improve. However, his medical condition raised significant concern among his family, compatriots and community workers in Riyadh.
Upon hearing about the incident, Riyadh-based Indian lawyer and social worker, Dr. & Adv. P.A. Hameed Padubidri, got involved and extended constant help, including arranging for Mohammed’s return to India.
Dr. P.A. Hameed contacted and met Mohammed’s sponsor, Abu Faisal Al-Qahtani and requested him to send the patient to India for further treatment. He facilitated all the necessary formalities immediately including the ticket for Mohammed’s swift departure.
Finally, Mohammed was discharged last Monday from the hospital to travel to India with wheelchair support, departing directly from Dammam International Airport to Mangaluru.
Mohammed reached Mangaluru last Thursday (04/07/2024), where he was welcomed by his family and relatives, who were overjoyed to see him back home.
“May Allah bless his sponsor Mr. Abu Faisal, his son, Engr. Naif Al-Qahtani and their entire family with immense mercy and health for their kind and humane gesture. We also extend our gratitude to the doctors and officials of King Salman Hospital for their wonderful service and treatment, and to Riyadh-based lawyer and social worker, Dr. & Adv. P.A. Hameed Padubidri, along with Abhi Raju from Kerala, Altaf Kanchinadka, Imthiyaz Athrady, Abdul Majeed, Ashraf Mukka, Siraj Padubidri Jeddah, Athrady Abubakker Vanilla, Shameer S M S Majoor, Akber Kabyady Athrady, Anver Kabyady Athrady, Nawaz Majoor for all their support and help during Mohammed’s hospitalization and travel,” the family expressed their gratitude.
