Youth Should Focus on Entrepreneurship, Says Naufal Ahmed at Teachers’ Day Celebration in Mulki….
Mulki: Teachers’ Day was celebrated with great enthusiasm at CSI English Medium School, Karnad. The event was marked by tributes to teachers, cultural performances and inspiring messages to students.
Delivering the keynote address as the chief guest, Mr. Naufal Ahmed, an entrepreneur from Saudi Arabia and an alumnus of the school’s first batch, highlighted the importance of self-reliance and innovation. “Along with learning, the blessings of teachers play a vital role in academic success. The youth should focus on self-employment and embrace entrepreneurship – the art of problem-solving,” he said.
The program was inaugurated by Rev. Steven Sarvottam of CSI Church, Mulki, who described teachers as the true sculptors of students’ future. He emphasized that along with academic excellence, value-based education shapes children into responsible and cultured individuals.
On the occasion, Mrs. Neeraja V. Alva, retired teacher of CSI Institutions, was felicitated for her dedicated service. All teaching staff were also honored, and prizes were distributed to the winners of various competitions organized for teachers.
The event was attended by Arish, Secretary of the Teachers’ Association, Ranjan Jattan, School Correspondent, Headmistress Shanthi David Karkada, and program coordinators Elizabeth Pushpalatha and Selvi Sudha.
Student Fathima Safa welcomed the gathering, Rishan announced the prizewinners, Teacher Mavis read the list of honorees, Bhoomika proposed the vote of thanks, and Ayishatul Shafa compered the program. Students Shamna and Roshni spoke on the significance of Teachers’ Day, while a colorful cultural program by students added vibrancy to the celebration.
