Bhatkal Muslim Association Riyadh Hosts Thought-Provoking Gathering…

In a remarkable show of unity and reflection, the Bhatkal Muslim Association Riyadh (BMA-R) recently organized a spiritually enriching and intellectually stimulating program at Hotel Executive, Olaya, Riyadh. The event witnessed the presence of esteemed scholar, Moulana Umrain Mahfooz Rahmani, Secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), who was the chief guest and keynote speaker for the evening.

In his profound address, Moulana Rahmani emphasized the timeless relevance of the teachings of Islam and the exemplary life of Prophet Muhammad (Peace be upon him). He highlighted that the Prophet (Pbuh) offered comprehensive guidance covering all aspects of human life-social, economic, political, and judicial-while upholding universal human values.

"Every issue, especially in the Indian context, must be addressed with patience, wisdom, and within the framework of legitimate systems," he remarked.

"Whether we receive a positive outcome or negative upshot from our legitimate efforts, our response must remain balanced, without over-excitement or despair." he said.

“In today’s global and national socio-political climate, where challenges are many and emotions often run high, it is more important than ever for us to respond with wisdom, restraint and a spirit of unity. Only through measured responses and strong community solidarity can we uphold our values and navigate these times effectively,” said Moulana.

BMA-R President Mohamed Ammar Kazia, along with General Secretary Irshad Ahmed Sheikh, Patron Abdul Aleem Kazia, and former Executive Member Habibullah Mohtesham, graced the dais and welcomed the guests warmly.

The event also saw participation from prominent community leaders and representatives of various Indian associations in Riyadh. Notable attendees included Iliyas Mangalore, Abdul Matin, Abdulaziz Bajpe, representatives from DKMO, as well as lawyer and social worker, Dr. & Adv. P.A. Hameed Padubidri. Members from diverse professional backgrounds added to the event's vibrancy and depth.

The evening concluded with a dinner, fostering further interaction and community bonding.

A formal vote of thanks was delivered by BMA-R President Mohamed Ammar Kazia, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, dignitaries, and all attendees.

The program was eloquently compered by Irshad Ahmed Sheikh, General Secretary of BMA-R, who ensured the smooth flow of the event.

This gathering once again underscored BMA-R's ongoing commitment to promoting educational, social, cultural and spiritual awareness among the Indian diaspora in Saudi Arabia.
