Dubai: A dedicated group of 21 volunteers was recently honoured in Dubai for their exceptional service in assisting the Indian community during a high-demand period at the Consulate General of India.
The felicitation ceremony, organised by the Aim India Forum (AIF), was led by Founder President Dr. Shaikh Muzaffer, who commended the volunteers for their tireless commitment and round-the-clock efforts in supporting fellow Indians. The event was hosted by AIF Convenor Mr. Mohammed Azeem, who delivered a brief presentation outlining the organisation's vision for 2,600 Individuals Assisted in 21 Days future community development.

2,600 Individuals Assisted in 21 Days
The initiative was launched following a request from the Head of Chancery (HOC) at the Indian Consulate in Dubai, seeking additional manpower to manage increased footfall and streamline operations. Responding promptly, Dr. Muzaffer mobilised a team of volunteers in coordination with Mr.Hidayath Addoor, President of the UAE BCCI Chapter, and Mr. Mohammad Niyaz Farangipete. Over a span of 21 days, the team worked diligently at the consulate premises, assisting visitors with documentation, guiding applicants, and ensuring smooth service flow. By the end of the initiative, approximately 2,600 Indian nationals had benefited from their support.

The volunteers recognised for their dedicated service included Dr. Shaikh Muzaffer, Mohammad Niyaz, Mohammed Ashraf (Shameer), Hidayath Addoor, Afra Fathima, Roohina Ikram, Anjum Amirah Ikram, Abdulrahiman Saheb Honnavara (Addu), Saleem Nihala, Fathima Niba, Ayesha Afra Abdul Rahiman Hamad, Shabeeba Abdul Razak, Kennedy Theresa, Abdul Rehaman Afnan, Rameez, Mohammed Nawaz, Abubakar Ashfal, Abdul Latheef, and Mohammad Safwan, along with other volunteers who contributed to the success of the initiative.
Recognition from Officials and Community Leaders
The Consul General of India in Dubai, H.E. Satish Kumar Sivan, praised the initiative and acknowledged the crucial role played by AIF volunteers in easing operations during a challenging period.
The event was attended by several prominent community figures, including Mr. M. E. Moolur, Vice President of the Bearys Cultural Forum; Mr. Hidayath Addoor; Mr. Mohammed Niyaz, Vice President of AIF; Mr. Mohammed Azeem, Convenor of AIF; Shaikh Muzammil, Director of Labour Affairs at AIF; and Mr. Mohammed Ashraf (Shameer) representing KMCC. Special appreciation was extended to Mr. Ismail, owner of Bahar Al Noor Restaurant, for his generous support in providing meals to volunteers throughout the 21-day service period.
Encouraging Community Service
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Moolur highlighted the importance of youth participation in social initiatives, stating that such efforts inspire broader community engagement and strengthen unity. Mr. Ismail also praised the consistent efforts of AIF, noting their active role in addressing community concerns not only in the UAE but across the GCC.

Concluding the event, Dr. Shaikh Muzaffer expressed heartfelt gratitude to all volunteers, officials, and supporters who contributed to the success of the initiative. He reaffirmed AIF’s commitment to community service, emphasizing that unity and collective effort remain central to the organisation’s mission.
